So happy to announce that in May the Michelle Nicolle Quartet’s 8th CD, A Flower is a Lovesome Thing won the Bell Australian Jazz Award for Vocal Album of the Year, 2017.  A collection of beautiful songs by Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn, the album features Geoff Hughes (g), Tom Lee (b) and Ronny Ferella (d).
